Al Shabak, the distributor of Mactac, Ferrari Sign, Pizaaz, Endutex & Regulus range of media has been an integral part of SGI since its beginning and has chosen year after year the SGI platform to launch its new products to the MEA markets. At SGI 2020 Al Shabak unveiled to the region, the new Colour Wrap series, which is available in over 50 colours including Gloss, Metallic & Matt options.
Alliance General has been a part of SGI since the last 7 years. The company provides fibre laser cutting machines and other associated machines for the advertising industry. SGI proves to be an ideal platform for them as they see a steady flow of customers from the Middle East region year-on-year.
The promotional gifts and branding company, Alpha Arts launched a range of sustainable products made with 100% recyclable materials at SGI Dubai 2020. Alpha Arts also launched a mobile app that enables the customers to cut the purchase cycle and directly place the order. Alpha Arts designs all its products in-house and credits SGI Dubai for its continued success.
For Blue Rhine, it is their 17th consecutive year at SGI and a solid platform from where the company has sold sign materials throughout the GCC and other markets. Last year, Blue Rhine soft-launched the BlueRhine.store and now during SGI 2020, the brand has been able to take it live throughout the GCC. This was one of the highlights of the SGI 2020 show.
Business Point International has been in the UAE for the last 12 years and SGI has always been a significant growth platform for its business. During SGI 2020 the company featured its latest products such as the Fabric printer with roll-to-roll feature, in addition to UV and hybrid printing capabilities. This year the company received many hot enquiries from UAE and Saudi based clients. The team at Business Point International is already gearing towards its participation at the 2021 show.
For CMYK, the leading distributor for EPSON, OKI, Plamac, Gethray among several other brands, with a significant presence across the MENA region, the year 2020 has already proved to be a successful year right from the start. At SGI 2020, CMYK sold almost all the machines that were displayed at the stand.
Desert Sign had a variety of products on display during the show including DSMG-UV 3.2mtr, DSMG-UV 1.8mtr, DSMG-UV 2513 Flatbed Printer, DSMG-1325 CNC engraving and cutting machine, DSMG-1325 LASER & Solvent and Eco-Solvent Printer and LED modules and Aluminium Composite Panels. Desert Sign concluded numerous deals onsite and generated promising leads. Key buyers from Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the UAE were the frontrunners at the Desert Sign stand.
Flex Europa was present along with partners - Epson at SGI 2020 and sold 2 newly launched dye-sublimation printers, the EPSON SureColor SC-F9400H which specializes in printing fluorescent colours and is used extensively within the sports industry.
At SGI 2020, Halead showcased its portfolio of environmentally friendly media products. SGI show is the biggest show in this part of the world and has helped Halead connect with many potential customers from the Middle East and Africa region.
Heliozid Oce almost doubled the stand size at SGI Dubai 2020. This enabled Heliozid OCE in raising its profile in the market resulting in securing many serious sales leads from potential buyers from across the region including Africa. Heliozid OCE sold at the SGI 2020 booth one unit of the latest Oce Arizona 1380XT machine which prints on any reasonably flat surface, for just about any application.
LED Corner has also been an integral part of the SGI Dubai show for the past 10 years. The brand had a successful 2020 show with several enquiries from across the region and overseas markets.
Magic Touch, a pioneer in the transfer paper industry since 1989 offering a variety of transfer media to the market has been a part of SGI since its beginning. During the show, they were able to showcase their products and capabilities to numerous local and international customers.
Signage giant MASONLITE celebrated its 40th anniversary with SGI Dubai 2020. Masonlite introduced a series of latest products including fibre laser cutting machines, UV printers, flatbed printers among several others. SGI has been one of Masonlite's most effective platforms to promote its products and as a result, have managed to close several deals during the show.
QCW had a larger presence at the SGI Dubai 2020 show as compared to the previous years. This strategy worked well as QCW sold 7 machines in the 3 days of the show. This is in addition to hundreds of potential business leads that QCW could generate during the show. The company sold 2 eco-solvent printers, a UV flatbed printer, 2 laminators, a sublimation printer and a heat transfer unit at the booth.
Starflex, a leading manufacturer of media in the sign industry, showcased some of its latest product offerings during the 23rd edition of the show. Starflex, unveiled canvas, PE and speciality media to its existing and new customers from across the GCC and African regions.
Strings, the distributor of Avery Dennison has been participating in SGI for the past 10 years and selected the SGI 2020 event to launch its Marine Wrapping products due to the potential growth in this segment. Strings received tremendous response for its products from the local and international visitors which translated into on ground sales and potential business leads.
Zhejian Ganglong New Material Co. from China manufactures a spectrum of products for the printing industry. This was the company's 10th year at SGI Dubai. Zhejian Ganglong will be at the 2021 show with a much larger presence.
